STEM Scholarships


APH is proud to offer three scholarships this year to students who are blind or visually impaired focusing on STEM subjects:

  • The 2022 Peter Papano APH STEM Scholarship
  • The 2022 PPG Foundation APH STEM Scholarship
  • The 2022 APH Coding Symposium STEM Scholarship

Students may apply for as many scholarships for which they are eligible.

The 2022 Peter Papano APH STEM Scholarship

APH is excited to announce that we received renewed support this year for the Peter Papano APH STEM Scholarship for students who are blind or visually impaired! The application process for the 2022 scholarship is open from April 22, 2022 to June 17, 2022 (applications submitted before or after the designated timeframe will not be considered). If you are a high school senior planning to attend college in fall 2022 and majoring in a STEM subject, you may be eligible. The 2022 PPG Foundation APH Physical Science Scholarship

APH is excited to announce a new scholarship for students who are blind or visually impaired! The application process for the PPG Foundation APH Physical Science Scholarship is open from April 14 to July 1, 2022 (applications submitted before or after the designated timeframe will not be considered). If you are a high school senior and will be attending college in fall 2022, and will major in chemistry, physics, or another physical science, you may be eligible. The 2022 APH Coding Symposium Technology Scholarship

This year the American Printing House for the Blind is introducing a new scholarship: the APH Coding Symposium Technology Scholarship! One student will be eligible to receive a scholarship of $1,000. The application process for the 2022 scholarship is open from April 22, 2022 to June 17, 2022 (applications submitted before or after the designated timeframe will not be considered). If you are a college freshman in good standing, currently enrolled in college full-time, and a technology major, you may be eligible. To learn more and to apply, please read the guidelines below.
